A wish was felt and expressed, that Christians who doubt as to the claims of the Society on their sanction and support, had been present to listen and judge for themselves. If a shadow was cast over the pleasant season, it arose from the fear entertained lest, through the serious deficiency in the Society's funds, the extension of its operations should be prevented, or even reduced within narrower limits.
