NOTICE TO PURCHASERS.

THIS Volume has been issued before Vols. III. and IV. under the impression that purchasers would be glad to have a portion of the treatment of the New Testament in their hands at as early a date as possible.

The translator hopes to be able to prepare the remaining volumes at intervals of six months, as follows:

Vol. III. (from David to Josiah) April, 1876.

Vol. IV. (from Josiah to the Maccabees) Oct.
1877.

Vol. VI. (completing the treatment of the New
Testament) April, 1878.

Volumes I. (Introduction and Generations before Moses), and II. (from Moses to David) are already on sale.
