Philip Sadler is widely recognised as a leading authority in the field of management studies. Principal of Ashridge Management College for over 25 years until his retirement in 1990, he now devotes his time to research, writing, consultancy and lecturing. He is a Fellow of the International Leadership Association, a Companion of the Institute of Management, a Fellow of the Institute for Personnel Development, a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, and a Patron of the Centre for Tomorrow's Company. He has been awarded the honorary degrees of DSc (City University) and DBA (De Montford University). He holds the Burnham Gold Medal of the Institute of Management and was appointed CBE in 1986. He is the author of The Seamless Organization and Building Tomorrow's Company, also published by Kogan Page.
