In this expository commentary, Walter Brueggemann considers the canonical shape of Isaiah and treats the book as a primary theological "script" of the people of God in the Old Testament. He explores Isaiah's richness and density, identifying its theological claims and showing how they are evoked by and addressed to particular historical situations.
